Life is all about the stories you tell yourself. You take facts and you create a narrative according to your beliefs and experiences. The story you’ve created then plays a big part in how you interpret everything and how you navigate your life.
This is where your true power lies – you have to tell yourself the most powerful story about your circumstances as possible.
For example, you aren’t failing – you’re simply in the middle of conquering. It’s all about how you choose to look at things that make all the difference.
Yet the one mistake I see people making time and again is obsessing over all of the things that are out of their control. By focusing so much on much on the situations arising in their lives or other people not behaving the way they’d like, they give away their power. They begin to tell a story where life happens to them instead of them sitting in the driver’s seat of their lives, choosing where they want to go. It doesn’t feel good and definitely doesn’t feel powerful.
So this week I want you to take your power back. Get really clear on the stories you’re telling yourself about what’s going on in your life. If you don’t like how the stories feel, rewrite them.
What does this look like?

You’re here to do great things. However, if you’re telling yourself a story of defeat in your mind, you won’t ever transform your potential into your reality. Take back your power.
I believe in you.
